Pricing and Vat
Internet orders are inclusive of VAT.
All retail prices are ex shipping and are inclusive of VAT wich will be charged at the prevailling rate . We reserve the right to make adjustments to prices during the season without prior notification. No VAT on UK fruit trees orders.
Orders and Quotes
When placing orders customers are asked to give their full name and address. All Items are offered subject to crop and to being unsold on receipt of order. Minimum order is 180,00 Pounds excluding carriage. Rootstocks minimum order is 45 Pounds. Unpaid internet orders will not be processed!
Restrictions on height and weight of rootballs for big trees/conifers over 2,8M tall need to be specified on the enquiries send to us by email .
Carriage
Unless otherwise agreed carriage will be charged at 65 Pounds for UK website orders . All retail goods are consigned at the sellers risk.
An order will be refunded and cancellled if the shipping charges are too expensive to get the order to the delivery address in question.
We reserve the right to cancel and refund orders of pleached or tall trees over 2,8 m in case our big articulated lorry cannot get to the delivery address and transportation will be too expensive. Courier deliveries may be possible at cost in these cases . These matters apply on any order. It is the customer's responsability to take trees over 2,8M off a lorry . We are not responsable if rootballs are too heavy or pots/root balls are too big on bigger trees over 2,8M tall. Restrictions on height and weight of rootballs need to be specified on the enquiries send to us .
Trees and pleached trees need to be off loaded by the people who take the delivery (no tail lift lorries for these)
Retail UK pallet deliveries will be delivered by tail lift lorry so no offloading needs to be arranged by customer.
Claims
Consignments must be carefully examined on receipt and any complaint notified by telephone within two days and confirmed in writing within seven days. Notwithstanding anything else in these conditions, we shall be under no liability to the customer if the notifications are not made within the time specified.
Cancellations
Should any order be cancelled by the purchaser in time we reserve the right to charge the transportation cost involved by such a matter(in case Goods have been shipped) . Goods that have been used cannot be returned. Also bare root trees cannot be returned. Wholesale cancellations will be treated as per writings in section wholesale
Return and refund policy for retail customers
If there are queries regarding quality of a product and you wish a refund for this , the complaint must be made known to us in writing within fourteen days after delivery of goods. Refunds can be issued after the goods have been returned to our warehouse in good condition. Bare root plants cannot be returned or guaranteed.

Payment of accounts
Unpaid web orders will not be processed untill payment has been made.
When credit facilities have been agreed, payment is due within 14 days of date of invoice unless agreed otherwise in writing. Where credit has not been agreed payment in full is due prior to delivery. Interest shall be payable on all overdue accounts at 2,5% per month or part month from the due date until payment is received in full whether before or after judgement.
Reservation of Title
The risk of the goods passes to the buyer upon delivery but equitable and benificial ownership shall remain with us until full payment has been received. We reserve the right to repossess any goods in respect of which payment is overdue and the purchaser herebuy permits us access to the premises at wich the goods are located for this purpose.
Warranty
Every efford is made to supply good quality stock, true to name, and to ensure that it reaches the customer in a fresh and healthy condition. However, no warranty, expressed or implied, is given as to description, quality, growth or productiveness but plants have full guarantee for 12 months after receipt in the UK . Bare root trees and plants planted in pots after delivery will have no guarantee on them. Guarantee on plants only appicable when plants have a watering system on them! (so not somebody walking around with a hose)
Liability
While every effort is made to execute orders to our customers satisfaction, no guarantee of completion by a fixed date can be given and no claim for any consequential losses will be accepted. In all cases our liability is limited to replacing the items at fault,or making an allowence not to exeeding the amount charged for the goods in question.
