Sambucus racemosa - Potgrown, 50-80 cm

Description Red-berried elder, European red elder, Elder.
There are about 25 species of perennials, deciduous shrubs and softwood trees. Most of them have pinnate leaves and in late spring and early summer, they will bear large radiating sprays of tiny white or creamy flowers, which are followed by clusters of usually purple-black, blue or red berries. A member of the Honeysuckle family, this grows as a wild flower in Northern Europe. They will thrive in any reasonably well-drained, fertile soil in sun or shade.
