Pleached and espalier screening trees available for delivery.

A wide selection of super quality pleached and espalier trees are available in our web shop. Please do enquire if you need different varieties of trees or sizes in pleached material. All sizes in height or girth sizes are measured as in our general tree section from and on ground level. We will be pleased to help with questions about plant distances/pruning methods/growth rates etc. Planting distance between stems : 2M minimum en 3M maximum.

We have Hornbeam pleached, Beech pleached, Lime pleached, Evergreen pleached trees and many other varieties  available. Pleached Hornbeam is popular tree for screening above a wall. Anothe popular tree is the pleached lime tree .  Evergreen pleached trees are available as well. Pleached Magnolia Grandiflora and Pleached Quercus Ilex (Holly oak) are excellent examples.

Espalier trees means branches more or less horizontal in a frame . The purpose is to keep these main branches visible . Ususally used for fruit trees so that light , sun can shine on the fruit. Espalier,fan trained fruit trees are available in the section fruit edible.   This espalier technique is sometimes also used for Lime trees espalier .

Pleached trees means all the branches available  are pleached, tied into a frame with the purpose of creating a screen .

More mature full grown pleached trees available on request. Ordering one or two of the pleached trees is possible but it may take a while to deliver because of the nature/size of the product. Larger orders can be delivered normal as per web site.
